St. Mary's Parochial Church Council

  • History of St. Mary the Virgin Church

The Parochial Church Council works with the priest in charge of the South Hartismere benefice, the Reverend Julia Lall, to promote within the parish the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. The P.C.C. also has maintenance responsibilities for the church building and church grounds.

Church services are held as follows:

First Sunday of the month at 10:30am a service of Holy Communion or Worship for All.

Third Sunday of the month at 10:30am a service of Holy Communion or Worship for All.

The PCC and 'The Friends of St. Mary's' also organise a number of fund raising and social events throughout the year.

The Church is normally open every day from 10.00am - 4.00pm.
